North Swindon MP Justin Tomlinson joined staff and pupils at Moredon Primary School to celebrate Red Nose Day for Comic Relief.
Justin joined the school for a special assembly to raise money for Comic Relief, where the 400 pupils and staff created Swindon’s biggest red nose. The assembly included other fun events to raise money, such as eating jelly with chopsticks, a cracker eating competition and a staff cake sale.
In total the school raised more than £1,000 for the charity across the day.
Justin Tomlinson MP said: “It was a pleasure to join Moredon Primary School for their Comic Relief celebrations. Visits like this are what I most enjoy about being an MP and it was great to see the children having fun while raising money for such a good cause.”
