North Swindon MP Justin Tomlinson welcomed the National Literacy Trust to his community office as the group met with local stakeholders.
The National Literacy Trust promotes reading, and works with disadvantaged children to make sure they have the literacy skills they need to succeed.
The group held two meetings in the community office with local stakeholders to discuss the work the Trust was doing and to share best practice.
Throughout his time as an MP, Justin has worked closely with the National Literacy Trust, and for the past five years he has launched its Summer Reading Challenge in Parliament. Justin also chaired the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Libraries, and as a Borough Councillor led the project to establish the £10 million Central Library in the town centre.
