Your Member of Parliament for North Swindon

Justin Tomlinson MP

Prior to being elected to Parliament, Justin served as the Abbey Meads Councillor, in North Swindon for 10 years, ending on the day he was elected as an MP.  During the 10 years Justin was a Councillor he had a 100% attendance record and never claimed a penny in expenses.

Whilst on Swindon Borough Council, Justin served 4 years in Cabinet as the Lead Member for Culture, Leisure & Recreation.  During this time he chaired a number of key projects:

Justin says "As a local resident, I am extremely proud to be the Conservative Member of Parliament for North Swindon. I am working tirelessly to always put fellow local residents first, no excuses. As I have shown through my track record as a former local Councillor, there is no one with more energy, enthusiasm and passion to stand up and put Swindon first and I have continued this as your MP."

Outside politics, Justin is a huge fan of football and cricket! He regularly watches Swindon Town and Swindon Supermarine FC. Justin still regularly plays football including for the Parliamentary football team. Justin married Jo in Parliament in June 2012 who runs a pet care company that covers Hungerford, Newbury & Marlborough.  Jo also helps run the New College job club as a volunteer and is an active supporter of various animal welfare charities.
