The local MP has been a long-standing supporter of Macmillan Cancer Support since being elected and has supported their Coffee Mornings every year as MP. One year even setting a record among MPs by attending 8 separate Coffee Mornings in a single morning.

Justin Tomlinson MP said:

"Macmillan Cancer Support do absolutely amazing work and it is always a pleasure to support their work – in this case alongside the excellent Friends of Stratton Libraries group at Beechcroft Library. Across the country people will be taking part in a wide variety fundraising activities on the 24th September to support Macmillan, but the most popular and successful of these are the coffee mornings – which are abundant all over Swindon.”
