Justin Tomlinson MP met X Factor celebrity Dermot O'Leary at a Reception held in the Palace of Westminster. Together with Naomi Wilkinson (presenter of BBC's 'Live n Deadly') Dermot met with MPs in Parliament to raise awareness of the work of the Young People's Trust for the Environment, of which they are both Presidents. Guests at the event heard about how the Young People's Trust is supporting and encouraging young people to carrying out a huge range of brilliant work to help protect the environment for the future.
Justin Tomlinson MP, "It is essential that we educate young children about the importance of the environment. I remember it was through my school environment issues were taught, ranging from the need to tackle climate change to recycling - both of which I have taken forward as I have grown older."
