Justin Continues Championing The Hospitality Industry Ahead Of The Spring Budget

North Swindon MP Justin Tomlinson has again called on the Government to support the hospitality and tourism ahead of next week’s Spring Budget.

Last week Justin wrote to the Chancellor in support of the hospitality sector, and in particular pubs, business rates reform and action on VAT.

The hospitality and tourism sector has faced significant pressure recently, influences by high energy costs, rising wages and a challenging recruitment environment.

With the Spring Budget next week, Justin is joining calls to see measures aimed at supporting the hospitality sector included in the budget.

Justin Tomlinson MP said: “Our brilliant pubs, cafes, hotels & restaurants are so important to their local communities, and it only right we do all we can to support them as the navigate the current challenges.

The chancellor has been receptive to previous requests regarding business rates and VAT – I am hoping he will be as receptive to these further requests as we approach the Spring Budget.”
