North Swindon MP Justin Tomlinson asked Disability Minister Tom Pursglove about extending the Special Rules for Terminal Illnesses to include those with deteriorating health conditions - such as MND and MS.
By doing so it is estimated that a quarter of a million people could be lifted out of unnecessary assessments.
