Since the recruitment drive was launched in 2019, the 43 police forces across England and Wales have seen an additional 20,951 police officers recruited – beating the original pledge by nearly 1,000. More officers recruited means more officers on the streets tackling crime and making our communities safer.

Millions Of Families To Benefit From Cost Of Living Payments

In North Swindon an extra 530 people in work over the last 12 months, with unemployment down to just 2.9%, one of the lowest in the country.
